The City of Lincolnton and Lincoln County share in a commitment to governmental cooperation. In fact, with Lincolnton being the only incorporated area, the two governmental bodies have been able to develop a productive, long-term working relationship. Proof of this commitment is in the combining of governmental services such as economic development, building inspection and recreation. When combined, these services have proved to be more effective and cost efficient for the City of Lincolnton and Lincoln County.
